why do man like to string you along? have sex with you but yet, only send you text and when you quit sending or responding then they call just so they dont lose his connection with you. have excuses like you live so far. i want to see you but it is hard cause you live far. yet you offer to go that way and they say they are busy. and at the same time they dont let go. just want to string you along. why is that. does he want me or not.

I am not the cliched picture of a girl. I like my guns, knives, jiujitsu, monster trucks, The Cowboys, playing the mud, etc. I'm not obssesive over my weight, and I never fell into the anorexic fad. I don't tolerate being treated poorly either. I've been called everything from immature and trash, to amazing and one of a kind. The never last after the second date. Why is it that men are SO intimidated by me? Or is that even the problem?

Well, the shrink in me is always trying to understand what’s driving the bus, in other words, what’s motivating the behavior. Was this woman trying to say “Love me, love my dog?” Does the dog serve as a wedge, protecting her from intimacy? Or . . . is she really trying to show you who her real love is? This is not appropriate behavior for a first date, unless it’s an outside café date and a calm puppy who is asleep under the table.

I met this woman for coffee and she was so over-dressed and had so much jewelry and makeup on that it was embarrassing. Why do women do that? She knew we weren’t going to Ruth Cris.

There are many things that could be going on here. For example, some women have a very difficult time aging. As they do, they have more plastic surgery, more liposuction, wear tighter more revealing clothing and if one bracelet is good, ten are better. A warning here, this can be an insecurity about aging, but it can also be a red flag for someone with a Borderline Personality Disorder.

All the men I meet just talk and talk about themand thatselves. They never ask what I do or anything about my life at all. And when I try to say something about me, it’s like, “Oh, that’s nice” and then it’s back to them. What’s wrong with these guys?

Again, this could be a large clue that you are meeting Narcissists – but some men are a bit socially uncomfortable meeting new women and are afraid to have any lull in the conversation. Try to keep inserting yourself into the conversation by piggy-backing on what he might be saying. If the conversation still is only about him, then it might be time to move on.

Yes, sorry ladies, men cannot read our minds or intuit what we like or want. Slow him down, show him by kissing him. Say what kind of kiss feels good for you. We all have different appetites, and there is a lid for every pot!

When you know who this guy is. When you know about his character and that it is safe to be with him outside of a public place. Know where they work, check that out, who are their friends? Google him, check out internet services that do background checks. You can’t be too careful today.

While I do know of a story where this actually worked out, usually not a great idea. This could create competition between the sisters, which may already be part of their sibling dynamic. In other words, don’t create more family chaos and drama.

Dateline, 48 hours, news shows, media. Women have been frightened by so many horrible stories today, and by so many of the serial killers looking like normal guys. Respect that they want to know you and feel safe, just as you would want your sister and mother to be.
